Community Warden for Bray and Oldfield – Clive Dent

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's Community Safety team comprises of 18 Community Wardens and our role is all about making communities safer and working together to reduce crime and disorder, which is a major concern within our society and affects all of us one way or another.

Community Safety is not only about tackling crime and disorder; it is about how safe people feel in their own communities and how we can all make a real difference by working together.

It is not just the job of the police - we all need to play a part in making our communities safer. Cutting crime and its causes and the fear of crime needs to involve everyone - residents, employers, visitors. In the Royal Borough partners are committed to doing just that - working together to make the borough an even safer place to live, work and visit.

The role of the community wardens is to:

  • Provide a uniformed, reassuring presence
  • Improve the well being, confidence and safety of Royal Borough residents
  • Promote community safety
  • Deter anti-social behaviour
  • Deter crime
  • Provide crime prevention advice
  • Take part in community projects
  • Link to all local organisations
  • Report crime and anti-social behaviour more effectively
  • Stay safer
  • Find out where to get help for substance misuse
  • Get crime reduction advice

I would welcome the opportunity of meeting any of the residents in Holyport to discuss any issues or concerns. I am usually out and about on my bike, so if you see me please stop me for a chat.
